New Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has praised Whites defender Stuart Dallas in his first pre-match press conference.
The 48-year-old described Dallas as “one of the hardest workers” in training, and is “clear” about his role in the Leeds team.
Leeds have been in poor form over the past few weeks, prompting the Elland Road board to make a change in the dugout.

The Premier League outfit parted company with Marcelo Bielsa last Sunday and appointed Marsch as their new manager on Monday.
Leeds are currently 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the bottom three.
So it’s crucial that Marsch hits the ground running at Elland Road, starting with Saturday’s early kickoff at Leicester.
And it looks as though Dallas will continue to feature regularly for Leeds.
The £1.3m man has been an ever-present at Leeds under Bielsa, playing in every league game so far this season.
He played in all 38 top-flight games last term, and made 45 league outings in the Championship-winning season.
In addition, Dallas has played in many different positions for Leeds over the years.
Leeds rewarded the 30-year-old with a new contract last year, tying him down until the summer of 2024.
On Thursday, Marsch listed the utility man as one of the team’s leaders, and felt he stood out.
“Dallas is one of the hardest workers and strongest young men clear with how he needs to work with the team,” Leeds Live quotes him as saying.
Dallas was one of the main beneficiaries under Bielsa, and it’s great to see his talent and attitude praised by the new manager.
