‘One of the best’… Pundit suggests Arsenal should sell five players to sign £43m attacker now

Arsenal need to sign a new striker in the January transfer window.

The Gunners are struggling in front of goal right now, and they need someone who can consistently find the back of the net leading their attack.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Don Hutchison has come up with a suggestion that he thinks could take Arsenal to the next level.

The pundit says that he actually watches a lot of European football, and he claims that Victor Osimhen could be the perfect solution to Arsenal’s striking issues.

Osimhen could be perfect

Hutchison shared his verdict on the £43m attacker.

“I watch a lot of European football and I think one of the best out there is a lad called Victor Osimhen at Napoli. He’s an amazing centre-forward. If Arsenal want to convince that they’re in the title race for the next five years they might have to sell four or five fringe players to fund someone like Osimhen, I think they need someone to take them to the next level,” Hutchison said.

Tough deal to do

As brilliant as Osimhen would be for Arsenal, we can’t help but think that this deal could be close to impossible.

As Hutchison says, Arsenal could sell up to five players to fund this deal, but, even then, that might not be enough.

Let’s not forget, Osimhen has just signed a new deal at Napoli, there’s no pressure for the Italian giants to sell right now, and it would take a massive offer for Arsenal to test their resolve.

Of course, this would be a brilliant signing, but we can’t see it happening this month.

In the summer, this might be the transfer that is at the top of Arsenal’s agenda, but if they want a January solution, they may have to look elsewhere.
