Ronny Rosenthal has raved about Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, in conversation with SpursWeb, and spoke of how he’d have loved to line up alongside both.
Kane and Son have been indispensable for Spurs over the past few years, the former scoring an impressive 188 competitive goals at club level, and the latter registering 85 goals and 47 assists in all competitions.
Indeed, when Kane and Son were both sidelined earlier this year, Tottenham were left in a precarious position and their season was at risk of falling apart completely, though in the end, Spurs managed to clinch European qualification.
Rosenthal, who played for Tottenham between 1994 and 1997, couldn’t speak highly enough of the two Spurs stars.
“Kane is one of the best strikers in the game,” Rosenthal told SpursWeb. “Quick, strong, technique, finishing ability. He is a complete striker.
“I love Sonny too. Seems like a great guy too. Very direct, skilful and can make things happen! I would have loved to play with both of them.”
Kane and Son are two players who need no introduction, both fan favourites at Tottenham and assured of a place in the club’s history as two of its greatest servants.
While this season may not have gone fully to plan for Spurs, a place in the Europa League has been sealed and, with Jose Mourinho at the helm and a brand new, state-of-the-art stadium to call home, things are looking bright at N17.
