'On a different planet': Some Rangers fans say they've got an 'unplayable' star in their ranks

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have waxed lyrical about Ibrox forward Ryan Kent in wake of today’s historic Scottish Premiership victory.

Steven Gerrard’s charges ran out 4-0 winners over Aberdeen at Ibrox to finish the 2020-21 league season unbeaten.

Rangers took the lead after just five minutes thanks to an own goal by Joe Lewis, before Kemar Roofe doubled his side’s advantage on 34 minutes.

The former Leeds and Anderlecht man was on hand to flick home Kent’s low cross from the byline.

Roofe then made it three on the hour mark, finishing off from Ianis Hagi’s delivery, and Jermain Defoe capped off the Gers masterclass with an 88th-minute drive.

The result means that Rangers have completed an unbeaten league campaign for the first time in the modern era – and the first for 122 years.

Gerrard’s charges also conceded just 13 goals in the process for a British league record, breaking the previous best of 15 set by Chelsea in 2005.

Kent began the season with a goal against Aberdeen and ended it with an incredible display against the Dons in which he tormented their defence.

And of course you have everything in between, delighting Bears with his marvellous displays, in particular that performance against Celtic earlier this month.
