Manchester City fans have praised Cole Palmer for his goal in Tuesday night’s 6-1 League Cup triumph over Wycombe.
The 19-year-old midfielder is one of the most highly rated players coming through the Etihad ranks.
Palmer has been part of City’s academy setup for over a decade and this looks to be his breakthrough season.

He signed a contract extension in June that ties him to the club until 2026.
Palmer has already made five competitive appearances to date for Pep Guardiola’s side.
And on Tuesday, he grabbed his first senior goal with City’s sixth of the night in the 88th minute.
It was a superb goal too, a great solo effort as he drove down the middle, opened his body and rifled home from just outside the box.
Cue delirium from some Manchester City fans:
City fell behind in the 22nd minute through Brandon Hanlan, but levelled seven minutes later through Kevin De Bruyne.
Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden then netted before the break for a healthy 3-1 lead.
Ferran Torres made it four in the 71st minute and Mahrez got his second seven minutes from time.
