A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Filip Krovinovic’s cryptic, teasing Instagram story, hoping that the Baggies will make a transfer announcement.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined West Brom from Portuguese giants Benfica on a season-long loan deal, Slaven Bilic’s first signing since his appointment to The Hawthorns dugout.
Krovinovic has thoroughly impressed with Albion, making 40 Championship appearances, scoring three goals and registering four assists as the club sealed a triumphant return to the Premier League.

It’s not been easy for West Brom, who left it until the final day, but their 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers, combined with Brentford’s defeat by Barnsley, saw Bilic and co finish the season second in the table behind champions Leeds United.
As things officially stand, Krovinovic is due to go back to the Estadio da Luz at the end of the season, where he’s contracted until the summer of 2022.
However, the Croatian ace’s Insta story, in which he urges fans to “wait for more” in wake of their promotion, made some Baggies faithful very excited indeed:
