‘Omds’, ‘tell Edu to pack his bags’: Some Arsenal fans react to what they’ve read on Sky Sports

A number of Arsenal fans have called on the club to appoint Luis Campos after Sky Sports linked the 56-year-old with the Gunners.

The outlet claims that the former Lille sporting director has been targeted by a host of clubs across Europe.

As well as Arsenal, the likes of Juventus and Manchester United have also been linked with Campos.

However, Sky Sports goes on to claim that the Gunners aren’t recruiting for a sporting director.

Arsenal technical director Edu and manager Mikel Arteta are already working on plans for the summer transfer window, reported the outlet.

Campos, who has been dubbed “The Wizard of Capital Gains”, is renowned for developing players, enjoying on-pitch success, making profits from sales and bringing in top replacements.

He helped transform Lille into a team on the verge of the Ligue 1 title – they are currently three points clear of Paris Saint Germain with just two games to go.

Given Arsenal’s struggles this season, a number of fans really want the club to snap Campos up, even if that means Edu leaving:
