Tottenham Hotspur talent Oliver Skipp has been discussing his hopes for the season with Football.London this week.
The teenage midfielder appears to be a regular fixture of the matchday squad for Tottenham this season as Mauricio Pochettino continues to try and bring the 19-year-old into a big future at Spurs.
This season it looks like another young talent that might find his way into the Tottenham first-team picture is Troy Parrott. The Irish talent has impressed in pre-season and with the club’s youth teams.

With Fernando Llorente failing to be replaced, Parrott finds himself on the cusp of a call-up into the Tottenham first-team.
If he does, he will do so wearing Skipp’s old squad number.
Speaking to Football.London, Skipp admits he had no idea he had lost the 52 number to Parrott until he saw it with his own eyes. The teenager, who celebrated his birthday earlier this week, also made it clear he was not overly bothered.
“Honestly it was only maybe a day before [we first played] I found out. I went in and I saw that Troy had taken my number 52 shirt. I was winding him up about it, telling him to look after it and keep it in good hands.
“I didn’t choose [the number 29], I just found out the day before. I guess it shows that [I’m developing] but I’m not really bothered about what number I have. I guess you can always get lower though I suppose.”
Skipp has clearly moved up the pecking order with his number change and Tottenham fans will hope he can prove himself worthy of being a regular feature this season.
As for Parrott, there is no doubt that the Irishman is the youngster most exciting the Tottenham fans this season.
Hopefully, fans will get to see the number 52 scoring his first senior goal for the club this term.
