Kai Havertz hasn’t had the best of starts at Arsenal.
The German had a decent run of form towards the end of November, but other than that, most of his performances for the Gunners have been quite poor to say the least.
Fans are getting rather fed up of the midfielder, and we can’t blame them.
However, Havertz has always seemed like quite a popular player within the Arsenal dressing room, as shown by the celebrations after his goal against Bournemouth.
Now, speaking to The Athletic, Oleksandr Zinchenko has discussed Kai Havertz, and when asked to use one word to describe Havertz, he gave a very interesting answer.

Zinchenko uses one word to describe Havertz
Zinchenko was asked to describe a number of his teammates using just one word, and he called Havertz a giraffe.
“Kai Havertz?” Zinchenko was asked.
“Giraffe,” Zinchenko replied.
Trend emerging
It’s strange to hear Zinchenko calling Havertz a giraffe.
Let’s be fair, a giraffe isn’t the most graceful of creatures, and you wouldn’t want a footballer to be compared to a giraffe on the pitch, would you.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Havertz has been compared to a clumsy animal. During his time at Chelsea he earned the nickname ‘donkey’ from his teammates, and while that is quite funny, it’s also quite alarming.
Havertz has now been compared to a giraffe and a donkey by his teammates at two different clubs, and while this is all in good jest, that does tell you something about his ability and the way he plays football.
Havertz is not an elegant player, and at times, he does look like a bit of a donkey or a giraffe on the pitch, aimlessly running around with his long legs almost struggling to stay balanced at times.
Let’s hope that in the second half of the season Havertz is more of a stallion than a donkey or a giraffe.
