Erik ten Hag remains under fire at Manchester United.
The Red Devils may have got back to winning ways on Wednesday, but make no mistake about it, the Dutchman is still under heaps of pressure.
Speaking in Stick to Football, Ian Wright and co have been debating whether or not Ten Hag should stay at Manchester United, and according to Wright, it’s time to get rid of the manager at Old Trafford.
Gary Neville was discussing this situation with his co-host and he seemed rather surprised about this verdict.

Neville shocked by Wright’s Ten Hag verdict
The two pundits discussed Ten Hag’s future.
“Ditch. I’d get rid of him. I’d move him on,” Wright commented.
“Oh wow. What reason?” Neville said.
“Well when I look at United and the way they are playing, you only have to look at Ange and the way he has changed things so quickly and a pattern of play and how they want to do certain things and I still haven’t seen that with United up until this point,” Wright said.
“What I’m thinking with everything that has gone on, how long has he been there? 18 months. Come on man, we should be seeing a certain way that United are playing. They should be controlling games and winning games.”
Difficult
This is a really difficult call to make for Manchester United.
On one hand, there is no distinctive style of play and the performances have been poor for a long time. However, at the same time, the Red Devils are just three points behind Manchester City at the moment, and Pep Guardiola isn’t under any sort of pressure.
It comes down to the question of style or substance, and while United may be getting results at the moment, they’re not playing well at all.
It’s tough to judge whether or not Ten Hag should stay at the club.
