Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has waxed lyrical about fellow Reds centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutchman has been so good for Liverpool that he has made his £75million transfer fee seem like a bargain.
It didn’t take long for Van Dijk to make his mark following his arrival to Anfield from Southampton in 2017.
He quickly transformed the then-shaky Reds defence into a solid unit en route to trophy glory.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges have won the Champions League, the Premier League and the Club World Cup thanks in part to Van Dijk’s efforts.
Konate joined Liverpool just this summer to much fanfare, given his heroics for RB Leipzig.
Klopp has used the 22-year-old sparingly this term amid tough competition at centre-back.
But given Konate is young, he’s got plenty of time to hone his talents and stake a claim for a regular berth.
Speaking to Uncut on the Premier League YouTube channel, the Frenchman shared his admiration for Van Dijk and desire to learn from him.

“Van Dijk, yes,” said Konate.
“I think he has more experience than me and I hope in time I have this.
“I can just learn about him.
“Sometimes I see some actions of his and I’m like ‘oh my god, how does he do it?
“‘I will try to do this in the next game,’ it’s like that, yes.”
Liverpool are in action at Wolves today.
With the likes of Van Dijk and Konate at Klopp’s disposal, they’ll be favourites for yet another win.
