‘Oh my god’, ‘get in lad’: Some Liverpool fans erupt over Anfield-owned 21-year-old’s ‘sublime’ goal

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to praise Reds-owned gem Herbie Kane for yet another amazing goal away on loan.

The 21-year-old midfielder has come through the ranks at Liverpool and has earned rave reviews at the academy, on loan at Doncaster last season, and now with Hull City.

When Kane’s loan at Doncaster finished last summer, plenty of their fans hailed his contributions, one even calling him the best player he’d seen don the red and white hoops.

Kane joined Championship side Hull in January and, though he made a slow start at the KCOM Stadium, he now has two goals in his last two games.

His first was against Birmingham last Saturday, an audacious and cheeky free kick underneath the jumping wall and into the bottom-left corner of the net.

Kane, who’s “capable of scoring spectacular goals”, according to the official Liverpool website, then went one better with a simply superb set piece against Middlesbrough, a curling free kick over the wall and into the top corner.

Needless to say plenty of Liverpool fans loved what they saw, and took to Twitter to praise their player’s latest heroics:
