Manchester United fans have been having their say on matters this evening as reports suggest the club may look to use Jesse Lingard to try and sign Declan Rice.

The Athletic make the claim, suggesting United could ‘explore’ the chance of signing Rice, by using Lingard as a makeweight in any deal.

It is well known that the Hammers are keen to keep Lingard at the club. The England man has had a superb impact on matters since arriving in January and is valued around the £30m mark by those at Old Trafford.

Rice, meanwhile, has developed into the one of the top midfielders in the country, if not Europe. Quite rightly, then, United fans have been getting pretty excited over this potential deal.
