‘Oh god, yes please’: Spurs fans excited by prospect of signing Jonathan Bamba

Spurs fans have been having their say on social media in the last 24 hours after reports emerged linking them with Lille winger, Jonathan Bamba.

Bamba, 24, is thought to be on the list for Spurs as they look to strengthen the ranks this summer. More to the point, it is believed the club are looking for a replacement for Gareth Bale. Sky Sports claim that Bamba, along with Nico Gonzalez, is one of the players the Spurs board and Jose Mourinho are actively tracking.

The exciting winger, who can play either side of the attacking third, is one of the more exciting players in Ligue 1 and has scored six times and assisted a further nine for Lille this term.

Understandably, some Spurs fans seem pretty excited by the prospect of landing Bamba, with Twitter full of comments discussing the matter.

Bamba would certainly add pace, threat from wide areas, and directness to the Spurs XI. And some of those thoughts were echoed on Twitter it seems, as Spurs fans spoke about the potential signing of the French under-21 ace.
