Celtic continued their recent upturn in form with a cruising 3-0 win over Hamilton Academical this afternoon.
Neil Lennon’s side warmed up for important upcoming fixtures with Dundee United and Old Firm rivals Rangers with a comfortable win, with goals from Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and David Turnbull doing the damage.
The Celtic manager was impressed with the team’s play and spoke highly of the performance after the game.
As reported by the Daily Record, Lennon was happy to see some ‘flamboyance’, ‘zest’ and ‘fluency’ back in Celtic’s game and had specific praise for one player in particular.

“I thought Odsonne looked great today, the best he’s looked for a while,” the Celtic manager claimed. “He looked free and his quality was there for everyone to see. The whole team functioned well, I couldn’t fault any of them.
“I’m pleased with the partnership of Odsonne and Leigh (Griffiths), they’ve come together again at a good time.”
Edouard was one of the undoubted stars of last season at Celtic but has struggled to meet the same standard so far this term.
A fitness battle has been largely to blame for the striker, who looked burned out at times earlier this season.
But he is starting to find the form that saw him linked with big-money moves abroad in the summer and Celtic fans will hope that continues in the weeks to come as they look to close the gap to Rangers at the top of the table.
