The Emirates will be a really tough place to go.

However, getting some mojo back in midweek will have Spurs confident for the weekend.

If Ndombele is given a start alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp in midfield is could lead to a wonderful afternoon for Spurs.

One thing Ndombele did so well against Wolves was control the tempo in both halves.

Of his 45 accurate passes on the night, 21 were in his own half whilst 24 were in the Wolves his half.

He was stunning in transition for the Lilywhites.

The Frenchman contributed in the build up to attacks as well as in getting the ball out from defence.

Alasdair Gold described him as ‘showing desire’ in his player ratings, in which Ndombele earned a 7/10 (Football.London).

That will be needed on the weekend if he’s started.

Nuno simply has to take a gamble on the 24-year-old if he wants to get a win and build some momentum.
