Nuno Espirito Santo has given an honest verdict of Wolves fans and the Molineux atmosphere, after his Tottenham side won on penalties.
Spurs surrendered a 2-0 lead to eventually draw 2-2 in the Midlands, in what is the third round of the Carabao Cup. Tottenham were good, and bad.
Starting well, Tanguy Ndombele’s determination and power saw him open the scoring – tucking neatly under John Ruddy. Harry Kane made it two.
A good pass from Dele Alli found Kane, who finished as you would expect. But Leander Dendoncker scored, and then, Daniel Podence made it 2-2.
Penalties were thrust upon Spurs and both the woodwork, and Pierluigi Gollini helped Tottenham win – and enter the fourth round of the Cup.
“They’re a very good team. You know the quality and the talent that they have. It’s a very tough atmosphere at Molineux – it helps the team a lot.
“But if you allow me I will not go much further on my analysis of Wolves, I’m sorry,” Nuno told his press conference, as per Football London.

Nuno on Wolves: Tottenham probably just deserved to win
Spurs flew out of the blocks and were excellent in the first half, thoroughly deserving their first-half lead. But typically, they folded.
Proving rather Spursy, Nuno’s side conceded two goals to make a tie that should have been a comfortable win at 2-0 – almost a defeat.
Ultimately, it is a great result for Nuno and Spurs to progress into the next round. Their first-half showing means they probably earned the win.
But Tottenham have got to be so much better when it comes to game management and defending, if they want to be a top-six side.
Plenty of work for Nuno to do, but a step in the right direction. At least now, ahead of the North London derby, there is some confidence restored.
