Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has informed supporters that he hopes to have defender Willy Boly integrating ‘sooner rather than later’.
The Ivory Coast international has not featured for the first-team since October after sustaining a serious ankle injury in training, which Conor Coady described as ‘so innocuous’ (Express & Star).

Boly’s freak accident has seen him miss the last 12 Premier League games so far, but it would appear he might not be out of action for too much longer.
Espirito Santo said of the 28-year-old: “He is progressing well, is improving, but we still have the respect the dates and timings of his progression.

“It’s good to have him back on the grass and running. He is not integrating 100 percent into the team, but hopefully sooner rather than later.”
Wolves have done relatively well in Boly’s absence – they sit seventh in the Premier League and are in the last 32 of the Europa League.
TBR’s view – Boly return will be major Wolves boost
Boly will likely still be a few weeks away from first-team action, but his return won’t come a moment too soon for the Black Country club.

Wolves may have fared well without the colossus, but they are a far stronger side with him marshalling the defence.
Not only is Boly arguably Wolves’ best defender, but he also brings height which can be effective at the other end of the pitch.
