According to Sky Sports News, Red Bull Leipzig will step up their interest in Ademola Lookman. RB Leipzig want to sign Everton winger Lookman on a permanent deal rather than another loan.
This report suggests that RB Leipzig and Everton have been locked in discussions over this potential deal. The German club are clearly keen to accelerate this deal and get it over the line.
Lookman has not been given a long run in the Everton side and could look to leave for his career’s sake. The 21-year-old has only played 21 times under Marco Silva in the league.

And with game time looking limited at Goodison Park, a summer exit could loom. Lookman could follow the trend of young British players heading to the Bundesliga, having spent time on loan with RB Leipzig in the past.
Alternatively, he could remain in England. The former Charlton Athletic winger has been pursued by Southampton and they will need to reignite their interest now or risk missing out.
Back in May, Southampton were linked with Lookman (as per The Independent). Ralph Hasenhuttl worked with the England U21 starlet at RB Leipzig and is eyeing a reunion.
But if he serious about landing Lookman, he will have to insist Southampton act quickly. If not, Southampton will miss out as RB Leipzig step up their interest in Lookman.
