Nottingham Forest supporters hail Milosevic after victory over Bolton on final day

Nottingham Forest will have hoped to end this season in at least the Championship play-off spots, but sealed a ninth place finish with a 1-0 victory over Bolton on the final day of the season.

Joe Lolley’s goal earned the narrow victory but yet another clean sheet provided the bedrock, helped by a good performance from Alexander Milosevic.

Forest have had a lot of player turnover in the past two season, as well as a change of manager, but if they are to put together a real promotion push, they need to find some consistency of selection.

Milosevic was a new addition but he hasn’t had too much regular gametime until lately, when his towering presence has made a real difference to O’Neill’s backline.

And Forest supporters want Milosevic to stay around and become a regular in the side again next season, as they took to Twitter to hail his Sunday performance.

They think there’s even more to come from the defender next season, and want their club to give him the chance to show it…
