Nottingham Forest are beginning to look like a team that can compete for promotion this season and occupy the final play-off position after 19 league games.
But the relentlessness of the Championship means they won’t be able to tail off for a few games and they are fresh off the back of a dramatic 5-5 draw away to Aston Villa.
They have had a number of key players come to the fore this campaign and attacker Joe Lolley may be the pick of the bunch from Aitor Karanka’s squad.
According to the Daily Mail, Premier League club Watford are considering a January bid for the 26-year-old due to his impressive form.
It is understood that Lolley is valued at around £5million, with Cardiff and West Brom also potential interested in him.
Lolley has made 23 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and supplying seven assists in return.
The left-footed ace has been tearing up the Championship this campaign and is a real hit at the City Ground.
Forest could wave goodbye to their promotion hopes if they lost the winger, as he provides so much creativity in the final third and they would really lack his goals.
They of course do have several other important players in the squad, but it would be a major blow to lose him and very difficult to replace his contribution.
