Yohan Benalouane’s excellent start to life at Nottingham Forest has not gone unnoticed as he is reportedly being tracked by Leeds United, West Ham United and Cardiff City – and Forest fans are worried on Twitter.
French outlet Foot Mercato claimed Marcelo Bielsa’s Championship promotion contenders are set to do battle with Premier League duo West Ham and Cardiff for the 31-year-old stopper.
Benalouane only just joined Forest in the January transfer window from Leicester City, where he made only 29 appearances since joining the Foxes in the summer of 2015 from Serie A side Atalanta for £5million (Mercury).

But in 10 appearances for Forest, he has helped Martin O’Neill’s side win three games and keep three clean sheets. Despite breaking a bone in his skull, Benalouane scored the winner against Derby in a 1-0 win.
Scoring the winning goal against Forest’s rivals has immediately made the Tunisia international a fan favourite. But he only signed an 18-month contract at the City Ground, meaning his future is already in doubt.
Forest fans reacted to the news on Twitter that West Ham, Cardiff and Leeds are all reportedly interesting in the powerhouse defender’s services. The majority are worried, and are keen to keep him at the City Ground.
