Nottingham Forest are reportedly battling Leeds United for the signature of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Massimo Luongo – and Forest fans are desperate to see their club land the Aussie’s signature.
London Football News broke the report earlier this week that both Leeds and Forest want the 42-time Australia international, who has just 12 months remaining on his current QPR contract.
QPR director of football Les Ferdinand has since stated that Luongo can leave the club this summer, in an interview with The World Game, with Ferdinand stating the midfielder will push on elsewhere.

The World Game report claims QPR value the former Tottenham Hotspur and Swindon Town midfielder at a fee of £3.9million, which is more than affordable for both Forest and Leeds.
Luongo is renowned for his ability on the ball, as well as his driving runs from deep and the odd goal. Indeed, last season Luongo scored three goals and lay on four assists as QPR survived relegation.
Nottingham Forest fans reacted on Twitter to the news that their club were reportedly rivalling Leeds for the signature of Luongo, and many are desperate to see Martin O’Neill get a deal over the line.
