Nottingham Forest recorded a last-gasp victory over Coventry City on Wednesday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter picked out their defender Scott McKenna as one real positive.
Chris Hughton’s side needed a 97th minute penalty from their forward Lyle Taylor to earn three points at the City Ground and that moved the up to 20th in the Championship table.
Forest had gone ahead in the 30th minute after McKenna fired in a shot inside the box and it was a positive first-half from the hosts.
But visitors Coventry looked a much greater attacking threat in the second period by equalising through Callum O’Hare and they may have felt they should have won the game given the goalscoring chances.
The Reds managed to snatch a vital win though to move themselves two points above the relegation zone and they will now be preparing to host Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend in another important fixture.

A selection of Forest supporters on social media believe that McKenna was a real standout from the latest league match, as he popped up with a decisive goal and was a real leader at the back.
The 23-year-old centre-back has settled extremely quickly since his arrival from Scottish club Aberdeen in the summer transfer window and is already a big presence in the backline.
