TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor was left stunned after what he saw during Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Marseille last night.
Spurs got off to a lacklustre start in France and struggled to keep hold of the ball for the majority of the first-half.
Antonio Conte’s men fell behind to a Chancel Mbemba header but fought back during the second-half to secure a group-deciding win.
Clement Lenglet’s neat header started the revival and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s emphatic last-minute winner ensured Spurs finished top of their Champions League group.
Despite the win, Agbonlahor has slammed Tottenham for ‘parking the bus’ against Igor Tudor’s men.

Agbonlahor left stunned after Tottenham v Marseille
Speaking on TalkSPORT today, Agbonlahor branded a selection of Marseille players as Premier League ‘flops’.
“The first-half I thought Spurs were playing Real Madrid. It was like they were playing the best ever Real Madrid team,” he said.
“The way they parked that double-decker bus in the first-half was [like] nothing I’ve ever seen before. You look at that Marseille team, [Pau] Lopez the goalkeeper, flop at Spurs.
“Mbemba, flop at Newcastle. [Nuno] Tavares, flop at Arsenal. [Jordan] Veratout, flop at Aston Villa. [Matteo] Guendouzi, flop at Arsenal. [Sead] Kolasinac who came on, flop at Arsenal.
“These are Premier League flops and you’re going into the game parking the biggest bus you’ll ever see for the first-half. And this wasn’t even defensive, it was ultra-defensive.
“Harry Kane was probably halfway through his own half defending. You can play defensive tactics to try and play on the counter-attack but you’ve got to leave one player forward – they didn’t have anyone [forward].
“Marseille are fifth in the farmers league and you parked that bus. Spurs have conceded nine goals in the last twelve games, they’ve conceded first.
“They won’t keep getting away with it because they’re parking the bus, but they’re still conceding shots.”

A scathing assessment from the former Aston Villa striker and it was certainly a tough watch for Spurs fans during the first-half.
But Conte’s men improved dramatically during the second-half and got the job done, as they have managed to do quite frequently this season.
Tottenham have come under scrutiny for their style of play this season but Conte probably couldn’t care less.
Spurs finished top of their Champions League group after last night’s win and progressed to the last-16. They also sit third in the Premier League table and they’ve managed this while being nowhere near their best so far this season.
Conte will be keen for his side to improve on their current level of performances but he will also be happy with where they are right now.
