Discussions between Liverpool and central midfielder Naby Keita over a new Anfield contract have now stalled.
Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside that Jurgen Klopp is due to speak to his number eight in the coming days about his future.
Keita has struggled to keep himself fit and establish himself in the Liverpool lineup since his arrival and Romano says he wants more gametime.
But the Reds would only consider a sale for huge money, at a time when they have injury issues in midfield to deal with.

Liverpool contract talks with Keita stall
Romano said: “Naby Keita’s contract talks have stalled.
“I think it is normal that Keita wants to play more regularly at Liverpool. So far, negotiations are not proceeding but do remain ongoing.
“Jurgen Klopp plans to speak with Keita in the coming days to find a solution. Liverpool plans to keep Keita in case of many injuries in midfield.
“Only a huge offer would change Liverpool’s situation regarding Keita’s future at the club.”
Liverpool’s midfield is a talking point at the moment, as the wait continues for reinforcements and a true creator in the middle of the park.
Next summer looks like the time they will make their play for Jude Bellingham, having gone big on Darwin Nunez this summer.
It looks like the plan would be to sort out the midfield next summer, amid the injury problems, and would any club really bid huge money for Keita right now, given his injury record?
Time will tell, but it will be interesting to see what the outcome of the talks with Klopp proves to be.
