After a disappointing defeat to Aston Villa yesterday, Arsenal legend Ian Wright was slightly concerned with one individual performance.
Wright was speaking on the BBC’s Match of the Day and was reviewing a few of Arsenal’s shortcomings in attack against Villa.

The pundit thought that Arsenal took a little too long to suss out Unai Emery’s high line at the back, one that they ultimately failed to penetrate.
However, Wright did think Mikel Arteta’s side did enough to get something out of the game – which many Arsenal fans will agree with.
And when reviewing the chances, he did admit his surprise at a poor moment from Arsenal’s number nine.
Wright said: “When you look at the way Arsenal did play, they could have got something out of the game.
“And it would have been fine, because like I say, Villa have done very well.
“Poor touch from [Gabriel] Jesus there, not like him.”
And although he did have some clever moments, £45m Jesus’ performance did underwhelm on the whole – just like the rest of Arsenal’s front line.
Ian Wright surprised by Gabriel Jesus’ poor moment for Arsenal against Aston Villa
When discussing Jesus’ poor first touch, Wright was referring to an incident that would have put the Arsenal striker through on goal against Villa.
And although it may seem slightly harsh to fixate on such moments, they ultimately do make the difference in such tight games.

That being said, Arsenal’s key chances did fall to Martin Odegaard yesterday.
The Norwegian was working extremely hard in the middle to create opportunities, but did fail to take either that landed his way.
Arsenal’s captain has been finishing so assuredly of late, and will be disappointed to go home empty handed.
It was a frustrating night for Arsenal, one made even more harder to stomach by a ‘ridiculous’ decision given against them.
But in a busy fixture schedule, the focus will now have to swiftly move on.
And after a chance to rest players against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, Arsenal will then host Brighton Hove Albion next weekend.
