'Not having this': Some Everton fans react after hearing club's reportedly made offer for £17m man
Everton fans have reacted with surprise to the report claiming the Toffees have tabled an offer for Pierluigi Gollini.
According to Calciomercato, the Goodison Park outfit is one of three Premier League clubs that have made a move.
As well as Everton, Spurs and Wolves have reportedly made bids for the Atalanta goalkeeper.
Gollini reportedly has a 20m Euro (£17m) price tag, though it’s not specified if that’s how much Everton have offered.
Either way, many Toffees fans are sceptical about the report, given Gollini would probably not be a starter.
Jordan Pickford remains Everton’s first-choice stopper and enjoyed a superb Euro 2020 where he kept five clean sheets.
For £17m, it seems like a lot of money for Everton to spend on Gollini, who’d likely be their second-choice keeper at best.

Everton transfer talk: Gollini isn’t new to English football
Gollini has experience in English football, having spent time at Manchester United’s academy and also playing for Aston Villa.
The 6ft 4in stopper’s senior breakthrough came for Hellas Verona, who he joined from the Red Devils in 2014.
Gollini then moved to Villa in 2016 but struggled at B6 and went out on loan to Atalanta the following year.
He shone for the Bergamo outfit and promptly joined permanently in 2018, making 112 appearances to date.
