It’s fair to say that the mood around Tottenham Hotspur is not a particularly positive one right now and it hasn’t been helped by the news that Heung-Min Son is set to be in international action again next month.
International demands
The Tottenham forward was once again included in South Korea’s national squad for their matches in October.
The last time Son went away he returned with an injury, in what was a disastrous international break for Spurs.
Tottenham saw numerous players pick up problems over that period, and they actually haven’t won a Premier League game since the resumption of domestic football.
And with Tottenham’s form taking a turn for the worse, the news that Son is set to represent his country again has just caused more concern on social media.
Another concern
Losing Son would indeed be a huge blow for Spurs if he was to pick up a problem.
The chances of him picking up an injury are slim, but Tottenham have seemingly encountered problems over most recent international breaks, so it is understandable why there is such worry at the time being.
Son actually hasn’t been at his sparkling best for Tottenham this season, with Nuno’s side struggling in an attacking sense.
The clinical forward did score for Tottenham in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend, though, to hit his third Premier League goal of the campaign.
