‘Not good enough’: Leeds fans tear into Stuart Dallas after Blackburn display

Stuart Dallas played 76 minutes in the defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday – and some Leeds United fans on Twitter annihilated him for his individual performance.

The Whites suffered just their second loss of the season at the weekend, as they were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline at Ewood Park.

In-form midfielder Mateusz Klich had equalised for Leeds on the stroke of half-time to cancel out an early Danny Graham goal, but Blackburn netted their winner in the second-half through a Darragh Lenihan header.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side missed the opportunity to temporarily move to the top of the Championship table, but the loss means they remain fourth in the league instead.

Leeds went into the league fixture without injured left-back Barry Douglas, which meant that versatile ace Dallas was deployed at full-back due to a lack of options.

The 27-year-old struggled to cope with Blackburn throughout the contest and looked off the pace.

He looks far more comfortable when used as a winger further up the pitch and the weekend showed why he’s an emergency full-back only.
