BBC pundit Clinton Morrison slammed three Tottenham Hotspur players after a ‘poor’ first-half moment against Newcastle United.
Spurs got off to a decent start to today’s game as they looked threatening going forward in the first half an hour. Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son both went close but Antonio Conte’s men conceded two avoidable goals afterwards.
The first was a huge mistake from Hugo Lloris, who came out to claim the ball but lost out to Callum Wilson. The Newcastle striker then chipped the ball over Eric Dier and into the Spurs goal.
And after Newcastle’s second goal of the evening, Morrison slammed Lloris, Ryan Sessegnon and Clement Lenglet for their efforts.

Lloris played a poor ball to Sessegnon on the left-hand side and the wing-back lost out to Sean Longstaff.
He then tussled with Miguel Almiron for the ball but lost out once again. The Newcastle midfielder then skipped past Lenglet and produced a brilliant finish to beat Lloris.
On BBC Radio 5 Live, Morrison said the Tottenham trio were simply not good enough for the goal.
“The kick from Lloris is not good enough but Sessegnon is not good enough,” he said.
“Poor defending from Lenglet as well but it’s all about Almiron. He just tucks it under Lloris and it’s a great finish.”

Spurs did get back into the game after Harry Kane got a goal back at the beginning of the second-half.
But it was another underwhelming display from Spurs after a terrible result at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
Conte’s men have now lost two games on the bounce in the Premier League and will need to dust themselves down ahead of a massive European game against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday.
