Arsenal goalkeeper Deyan Iliev is currently on loan at Shrewsbury, where he made his second appearance for the club last night.
The Gunners stopper linked up with the third-tier side – who needed to replace fellow loanee Matija Sarkic due to a hamstring injury – earlier this month.

Having made his debut last weekend in a 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon, Iliev was once again named in between the sticks for the home meeting with Bristol Rovers.
The 25-year-old put in a mixed performance, pulling off a couple of smart saves but being caught out for the opposition’s winner, a header by the unmarked Brandon Hanlan.
Iliev’s distribution also came in for some criticism, although Shrewsbury definitely had chances to get the win at the other end, but were wasteful throughout.
Here is what some Shrews fans made of the Arsenal loanee’s display at the New Meadow:
Iliev has been with the Gunners since 2012, when he joined their academy from North Macedonian outlet Belasica, but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the North Londoners.
Last season, Iliev – whose Arsenal contract runs until 2022 – spent time on loan at Slovakia’s SKF Sered and Poland’s Jagiellonia Bialystok.
