With English football having ground to a halt, the nation’s professional players are having to find ways to entertain themselves at home, and Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is no exception.

Spurs, along with the rest of the teams in the Premier League, the EFL’s three leagues, the Women’s Super League and the Women’s Championship, will now not be in action until 30 April at the earliest.

On Thursday, a joint statement was issued by the FA, Premier League and EFL in which they expressed “a commitment to finding ways of resuming the 2019-20 season” and completing all domestic and European matches “as soon as it is safe and possible to do so” (BBC Sport).

Numerous footballers, including Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, took part in the Stay at Home Challenge, which involves doing keepie uppies with a toilet roll.

Foyth joined Tottenham for a reported £8million (BBC Sport) in August 2017 on a five-year contract worth a reported £21,500 a week until 2022 (Spotrac), and has made 32 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, including seven this season (Transfermarkt).
