Norwich fans react on Twitter to Spurs loanee Oliver Skipp’s display

A number of Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Oliver Skipp’s display as the Tottenham Hotspur loanee shone in their victory over Stoke City on Saturday.

Daniel Farke’s men got their automatic-promotion push back on track against the Potters. They won 4-1 against Michael O’Neill’s men.

And while he did not get on the scoresheet, Skipp was one of the standout performers for the home side at Carrow Road.

He has been outstanding during his time out on loan, and he continues to go from strength to strength.

As shown by Whoscored.com, only Norwich’s two centre-back completed more passes than the 20-year-old. Meanwhile, he won four aerial duels and three tackles.

His energy and intent really set a tone for Farke’s side. And plenty of Norwich fans have suggested that Tottenham have an incredibly special player on their hands.

Some have suggested that the Canaries need to be looking at keeping him for next season, whether they are promoted or not.

Others meanwhile, have claimed that he may be one of the best signings the club have made for a long time.
