Norwich City can secure their place in the Premier League this weekend with a win against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
It is an incredible achievement from Daniel Farke’s side, who nobody expected would be in this position.
The likes of Stoke City, West Brom, Derby County, Aston Villa, and West Brom were expected to dominate the Championship this term but instead, the Canaries look set to head back to the top-flight.
The development will undoubtedly have Rangers reserve boss Graeme Murty very happy.
Rangers fans have a tumultuous relationship with Murty, after his caretaker spell last season prior to Steven Gerrard’s arrival.
But the Ibrox man has a fine record producing young talent, as this Norwich team is now proving.
Incredible young talents such as Ben Godfrey, Max Aarons, Todd Cantwell, and Jamal Lewis have all been pivotal to the team’s success, all of whom came through the youth system whilst Murty was working at Carrow Road.
Rangers fans will hope that Murty can help the Glasgow club develop similar talents at Ibrox for the future. If so, perhaps they can be topping their own table in the not so distant future.
