Norwich City fans wowed by display from on-loan Tottenham star Oliver Skipp
On-loan Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp was in action on Wednesday evening in the Championship – and some Norwich City fans on Twitter raved about the performance of their brilliant loanee.
Skipp joined Norwich last summer on a season-long loan from Spurs, which has turned out to be a superb deal for all parties.
The 20-year-old is playing regularly and has helped his Norwich side pull clear at the top of the Championship in pursuit of promotion, while Spurs watch their rising talent develop with senior minutes.
Skipp started once again during the 2-0 away victory against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
He’s a deep-lying central midfielder that is an ever-present in the Canaries XI, and he helped pull the strings again in a Championship match.
The England Under-21 international is a ball-playing midfielder with massive potential, so it’ll be intriguing to see if Spurs look to draft him into their first team next season under Jose Mourinho.

A selection of Norwich fans on social media were wowed by his midweek performance against Forest.
He’s played 23 first-team games previously for Spurs and the academy graduate looks mature beyond his year, but it’ll be exciting to see what kind of player returns to north London in the summer.
Here are some Norwich fans discussing Skipp:
No issue with spurs fans hijacking the Motm poll tonight, skipp fully deserves it IMO

Seems wrong to single players out after a brilliant team performance but Rupp, Skipp and Gianoullis were outstanding today. A return to the Premier League edges closer and closer. #ncfc #otbc

I was worried b4 kick off, needn't have been, Rupp, Dowell put a decent shift in, Skipp is simply different class. #ncfc
