Norwich City fans rave about Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp after Tuesday strike

Oliver Skipp scored his first professional goal for Norwich City on Tuesday night as the Canaries produced an excellent 3-1 away win over Birmingham City – and Norwich supporters have raved about the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder.

Skipp, 20, has been absolutely crucial to Norwich this season. He has started every single one of Norwich’s 32 Championship fixtures as Daniel Farke looks to secure an instant return to the Premier League this season. But it was his first goal on Tuesday.

Coming into the match, Norwich had won the last three Championship matches and they made it four – with Skipp excelling once again. The England Under-21 star scored in injury time as Norwich broke with Birmingham pressing.

Emi Buendia was through on goal and despite playing the entire match, Skipp showed no signs of tiredness as he kept pace with the Argentine. Buendia was unselfish, squaring to Skipp who tapped home to score his first ever pro goal [below].

Skipp is on loan until the end of the season at Carrow Road without a permanent option. Indeed, Spurs fans are excited to see Skipp return to the club at the end of the season – having got a full season of matches under his belt.

But with Norwich looking a good bet to return to the Premier League, Skipp might fancy staying at Carrow Road. Of course, Norwich fans raved about the impressive midfielder – with some urging him to sign permanently under Farke.
