Noni Madueke says Tottenham have a £22m player who’s even better than Liverpool’s Luis Diaz

Noni Madueke has been discussing some of the best wingers in world football.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, the Chelsea star has been ranking and rating some of world football’s greatest wide talents.

Interestingly, Madueke had high praise for Heung-Min Son.

Madueke will know Son well from his time at Tottenham – he spent four years at Spurs between 2014 and 2018 as an academy player.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Madueke has spoken about how much he rates Son, claiming that he’s better than both Michael Olise and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Madueke spoke about the £22m Tottenham star.

“Michael Olise or Heung-Min Son?” Madueke was asked.

“I’m going to go with Son,” Madueke said.

“Heung-Min Son or Luis Diaz?” Madueke was asked.

“I’m going to stay with Son,” Madueke said.

Heung-Min Son is one of the best around

Olise and Diaz may be two of the highest rated players in the world right now, but Son is right up there with the best in the world, even at the age of 32.

Son has been doing the business for Tottenham for such a long time now, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

While Olise and Diaz have shown tons of ability and promise, Son is a Golden Boot winner who has proven for over a decade that he is one of the best in the world.

Of course, both Olise and Diaz could reach the levels Son has shown at Tottenham, but the level of consistency the South Korean has shown over so many years is astounding.

Son spent a long time at Tottenham in the shadow of Harry Kane, but over the past 12 months, he’s shown that he is, in his own right, one of the Premier League’s all-time great attacking players.

Son is an elite talent, there’s no doubt about it.
