Noel Whelan has raised question marks over Leeds United goalkeepers Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman.
Ex-Whites ace Whelan has doubted whether they are capable of being part of a team that can earn promotion from the Championship.
“Realistically would either of those (Peacock-Farrell or Blackman) be your first choice goalkeeper that is going to get you into the Premier League? Probably not,” Whelan told Sporting Life Football.
Peacock-Farrell has been the number one so far this season and played every minute in the league, where Leeds currently sit third in the standings over the international break.
But the 22-year-old has made some high-profile individual errors recently and some are uncertain over him being the main shot-stopper at Elland Road.

Blackman is a possible option that could come into the Leeds XI and the 25-year-old is on loan from Chelsea.
The colossus goalkeeper impressed last season in the Championship with Sheffield United and is having to be patient for his opportunity this campaign at their Yorkshire rivals.
The alarm bells should be ringing for Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa in any event, as he needs to have a dependable goalkeeper to help sustain a promotion bid.
Bielsa’s team can’t afford to have sloppy mistakes in net and it may be up to Blackman to prove Whelan’s theory wrong.
