A number of Celtic fans have given their thoughts on Beram Kayal’s come-get-me plea to Parkhead boss Neil Lennon.
The 32-year-old joined the Bhoys from Maccabi Haifa in 2010, brought to Parkhead by Lennon, and enjoyed a fruitful stint in the green and white hoops.
Kayal made 132 competitive appearances for Celtic, winning four Scottish Premiership titles and two Scottish Cups, before moving to Brighton in 2015.

The 45-cap Israel international was a hit in England too, with 131 competitive appearances for the Seagulls, plus a loan spell at Charlton in the first half of last season.
Kayal is now is a free agent and, speaking to the Daily Record, the midfielder admits he would relish the chance to link up with his old boss again in pursuit of 10 In A Row.
“Tell Lenny I want to come back! At the moment, I have some interest, but I need to wait as clubs are waiting,” said Kayal.
“I would like a big challenge and I am open to everything. I know Celtic have many midfielders and have just signed one and there is no point in going somewhere when I am not needed.
“But everyone knows I would love to go back to Celtic. It started my career in Europe and it would be amazing to do Ten in a Row with Lenny. I’ll have the phone on waiting for him to call if he needs me!”
It’s great to hear a former Bhoy publicly express a desire to return to Celtic, even if he realises he’d most likely be surplus to requirements, as it shows love and passion for the club.
However, fan reaction towards a hypothetical return is largely swaying towards the “no” camp, as seen by the below comments on social media:
