‘No way’, ‘They can’t afford him’: Arsenal fans react as Juventus reportedly join hunt for Thomas Partey

Arsenal fans have been reacting on social media to the news that Juventus could now be in the race to sign long-term target, Thomas Partey.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been a shining light for the La Liga giants this season. However, that form has seen Arsenal make a play to land the Ghanaian. Indeed, The Express claimed just this week that the Gunners were preparing to offer a number of players to Atletico in order to land Partey.

But Gazzetta dello Sport claimed yesterday that Juventus have now thrown their hat in the ring. The news could be a blow to the Gunners, who have today just confirmed the signing of Willian.

However, it doesn’t seem that Arsenal fans seem to fussed about Juventus on this one. A lot of Gunners fans have taken to Twitter to question just how the Serie A champions can afford such a deal.

It seems, then, that some Arsenal supporters are more than confident of landing Partey ahead of ‘Juve’.
