‘No way, naughty’: Arsenal fans amazed by what Aubameyang did to Hojbjerg in clash with Tottenham

Arsenal fans were left very impressed by a brilliant piece of skill from Pierre Emerick Aubameyang during the North London derby yesterday.

Catching the eye

Arsenal took on Tottenham Hotspur in what was billed as a friendly match, with Nuno’s side eventually coming out on top.

Spurs won the game 1-0 with Aubameyang actually having a fairly quiet outing.

But one piece of trickery really did catch the eye during the first-half.

Aubameyang picked the ball up with very little room to work with, and Pierre Emile Hojbjerg quickly went to press him.

However, Aubameyang wriggled away from trouble with a wonderful piece of foot work which completely bamboozled the Spurs midfielder.

And Arsenal fans were quick to praise their striker for the show of class.

Questions to answer

Aubameyang actually goes into the campaign with a number of question marks hanging over his head.

The rapid forward’s form slowed badly last season and even Arsenal fans now have some doubts over whether his best days are behind him.

Arsenal begin their campaign with a game against Brentford on Friday evening.
