‘No thanks’: Everton fans react to links with £13million-rated forward
Everton are being linked with RB Leipzig forward Hwang Hee-chan – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have reacted negatively to the transfer speculation.
According to Sport1, the 25-year-old could potentially be sold by Leipzig just a year after they signed him from Red Bull Salzburg.
It is explained that Premier League clubs Everton and West Ham are particularly keen on the South Korean’s signature ahead of next season.
The report adds that both were looking at him as a target back in the January window. Additionally, it would cost €15million (£13million) for his signature.
Hwang is a versatile attacker that can play as a striker or winger, and made a name for himself as a big talent in the Austrian division.
However, it’s been difficult for him in Germany.
He’s scored zero goals in 15 Bundesliga matches this season, netting twice though in the six appearances in cup competitions.
A selection of Everton supporters on social media are majorly pessimistic about whether or not Hwang has the ability to make a serious impact at Goodison Park.
There is no doubt that Carlo Ancelotti’s squad needs some improvement ahead of next year, especially in the forward position to find some competition and cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Here are some Everton fans discussing Hwang:
15 appearances, 0 goals. Its a no from me.

15 isn't too bad however, he's not been able to break into the Leipzig team, they play midfielders ahead of him up front, was decent in Austria, I'd rather go for dike in all honesty, 20-21 year old, built like a brick shithouse and knows where the net is for a similar price

0 goals in 15 Bundesliga games. Yeah sounds promising
