‘No no no’, ‘don’t want to risk it’: Some West Brom fans sweating over EFL Twitter update
A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Slaven Bilic being nominated for February’s Championship Manager of the Month award.
The Baggies boss steered his side to 16 points last month, hitting the ground running with a 2-0 win over Luton at The Hawthorns.
West Brom then went to Millwall and won by the same scoreline before picking up all three points on the road again, this time in a 2-1 win at Reading.

A 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest ended West Brom’s winning run but Albion then ran riot at Bristol City in a 3-0 win before defeating Preston 2-0 in the West Midlands.
Sadly, February did end on a slightly low note with a 1-0 home loss to Wigan but Bilic’s overall impressive month saw him named in the four-man shortlist for the monthly accolade.
Bilic is up against Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds, Wigan’s Paul Cook and Scott Parker of Fulham for the award, with the winner announced on Friday.
Here is how some West Brom fans reacted to the EFL’s announcement – many notably nervous about the so-called curse the award brings with it:
Give it to Bielsa or Parker.
