Former Spurs player Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter following this evening’s loss to Chelsea and called for Dele Alli to return to the fold ‘immediately’.
The Tottenham midfielder once again didn’t get anywhere near the pitch tonight as Chelsea ran out 1-0 winners in north London. In fact, Alli was once again missing from the squad completely.

However, talk in recent days has suggested that Alli could be set for a reprieve under Mourinho. Talks are said to have taken place between the England man and the Spurs boss, with a positive outcome.
And Roberts, taking to Twitter this evening, believes that Mourinho must go with the trio of Kane, Alli, and Son from now on, with ‘no excuses’.
Alli has been out of the picture for much of the season and was apparently close to sealing a move to PSG in the January window.
However, there is little sign yet of Mourinho giving Alli much of a push as Spurs continue to struggle without talisman Kane.
TBR View: Surely Dele Alli gets his chance now? This is poor from Spurs
Three defeats in a row for Spurs here are no acceptable. Tonight was miserable again. A decent enough second half wasn’t enough to break Chelsea down and they look short of ideas too.
Alli surely has to be given a chance now and Roberts is right in his assessment here.
