West Ham fans have taken to social media to react to the latest update surrounding reported transfer target Andre Silva, who could be set for a move in the summer.
According to German outlet SPORT1, Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to part ways with the Portuguese international in the upcoming transfer window, with Silva having a €30m (£26m) release clause in his contract, with The Daily Mail reporting in January that the former AC Milan attacker is a striker that is on West Ham’s radar.
With 23 Bundesliga goals this season, two more than Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, some West Ham fans on social media were very excited to see this transfer update on Silva, with a few supporters believing that a deal for the 25-year-old forward should be something the club pursue in the summer transfer window.
Here’s what a handful of West Ham fans had to say about the update on Silva on Twitter…
Milan paid 38M€ and he was half the player he is today. It's a no brainer for that price https://t.co/3Uwvqauhil

Okay hear me out (Bundesliga point of contact here).
Sign him immediately. His overall play has been absolutely outstanding for Frankfurt this season, he literally does a bit of everything up front for them and scores… A lot. https://t.co/ceZ4EgmfQL

West Ham have conducted business with Frankfurt before, with the Hammers signing Sebastien Haller in the summer of 2019 for a club-record fee of £45m according to BBC Sport.
