A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise the performance of reported Spurs target Max Aarons in Friday night’s Premier League clash.
The 20-year-old, who is reported by The Express to be on Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho’s summer shortlist, was in action for Norwich City in their game against Leicester City at Carrow Road.
Aarons put in an inspired performance for the struggling Canaries, setting up fellow full-back Jamal Lewis for the only goal in the game as the former Premier League champions were defeated.

The Norwich academy graduate claimed his first assist from open play this season, having previously won the penalty which Teemu Pukki converted in the 2-1 defeat to Spurs a month ago.
With the Canaries battling relegation, it remains to be seen what happens in terms of their best players at the end of the season if they drop back to the Championship.
Tottenham fans keeping tabs on the game were left impressed with Aarons’ display and urged the Spurs board to loosen the purse strings in the summer.
Here is some of the social media reaction from Spurs fans regarding the £30million-rated player:
Aarons is contracted to Norwich until the summer of 2024, having signed an extension last summer, and has made 71 senior appearances for the Canaries, of which 28 this season.
