Nir Bitton has claimed that current teammate Tom Rogic is the most technically gifted player he’s played alongside during his time at Celtic.
Bitton, 28, has been with the Scottish giants since 2013 and he made the move to Parkhead just six months after Rogic.
Bitton was asked on Celtic’s official Instagram account the most skilful he’s played with for the club and picked out attacking midfielder Rogic.
Rogic has scored three goals and supplied five assists this season for Neil Lennon’s team, but only played 22 matches across all competitions and had a knee problem at the beginning of the campaign.
The 27-year-old has suffered a slight dip in recent times when it comes to his form, but is composed in front of goal and can help pull the strings going forward.
He is a left-footed playmaker that has shown on his day he can terrorise defences in the Scottish Premiership and he’s provided some big goals over the years.
Celtic have had some incredible players in recent years at the club during this period of domestic dominance in Scotland and there is no doubt that Rogic deserves to be mentioned for his brilliant flair on the ball.
It’s also worth mentioning though that Bitton has played alongside the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Odsonne Edouard, Kieran Tierney, James Forrest and captain Scott Brown during his time with the Bhoys.
Rogic is still under contract at Parkhead until 2023 and it will be intriguing to see if he can get back to his very best next season.
