Nikolaj Moller has reacted on his Instagram story after it was confirmed the teenage striker had completed a move to Arsenal from Swedish side Malmo – and he underlined his delight at completing a move to the north London side.
Moller, 18, only returned to Malmo in January after 18 months in Italy with Bologna. He is yet to make his senior debut for any side, but was training with Malmo’s first team before completing a move to the Premier League with Arsenal.
Goal claimed Moller will cost £450,000, and will link up with Steve Bould’s Under-23 side – adding to a list of young players that have joined the club’s second string, including George Lewis, Tim Akinola and Jonathan Dinzeyi.
The report also claims that Arsenal are expected to complete an £800,000 move to sign Omar Rekik from Hertha Berlin – though there has been no confirmation as of yet. Arsenal’s academy confirmed the signing of Moller, though.
Moller has plenty of competition. Folarin Balogun remains at the club, while Tyreece John-Jules is another crucial Under-23 member. Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are first-team options.
Despite this, the 6ft 4in Swede – who has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AftonBladet) – reacted on his Instagram story after completing a move to Arsenal, underlining his delight and promising to give 100%.
