Nigel Winterburn has warned Arsenal about the injury record of their reported target Adam Lallana.
The 31-year-old playmaker will see his Liverpool contract at Anfield expire at the end of the season and as it stands he will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the English midfielder is set to depart Merseyside when his deal expires and teams have started to register an interest.
It is understood that Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester City are all monitoring the situation of the Liverpool star.
Winterburn is concerned about the track record Lallana has of injuries and has advised Arsenal to take that into account when considering him.
“Lallana is a player I like but he has had so many injuries problems. When you’re looking to bring players in for the first team or even the squad, you have to be careful,” Winterburn told the Metro.

TBR’s View:
Lallana has been unfortunate with injuries in his career, but on his day has proven he can be a top creator in the Premier League and he’s still making a difference when he features for runaway leaders Liverpool.
He’s a versatile midfielder that can play in central or wide areas and his quality off both feet makes him a nightmare for opponents.
Lallana has played in 19 games across all competitions so far this season, but during the last campaign made only 16 appearances in total due to a spate of injury problems.
He would be an intriguing addition to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal squad next season, but he couldn’t be relied upon every week.
